I was apprehensive about buying these joy-con replacements. I had previously bought third party Game Cube joy-cons and was very disappointed in them. They had joystick drifting, no amiibo ability and the buttons felt cheap. I was, however , blown away by these new black joy-cons! They felt great, looked great and they HAD amiibo capabilities! The body material and buttons had a high quality feel to them. All buttons and thumb pads worked perfectly! And I love the retro-colored buttons. They look great against a black controller. I look forward to many hours of gameplay with these gamepads. Thank you SO much!

As someone who has sensory processing differences, and for whom the way things feel makes a big difference, these are a game changer. First of all the way they feel in the hand is exactly what I’ve been looking for. They feel amazing, and best off all despite that soft touch they don’t seem to absorb skin oils too bad. The best part though, which I had missed in the description is that they have upgraded rails. Getting them off takes a little more force, at first I thought they were jammed, but I have to tell you that even that short moment of panic was so worth once I realized what was going on. They feel solid when on the switch. The fact that the Switch never felt unibody to me was always a huge hindrance for my love of the console but these make it feel so much more high end. Like a truly high end device.
