I got these to replace my original joycons from 2021, which, over their lifetime, suffered a bad fall and now struggle to stay locked onto my switch. They’ve also begun having connectivity issues and (of course) stick drift over the last few months. Clicking these in was an IMMEDIATE upgrade. The metal locks have no trouble properly attaching to the screen, the joycons feel more stable and read more accurately, and they are downright ADORABLE. I’m obsessed with the buttons, the slightly different clicking sounds, the feel of that shell material (which really IS soft to the touch!). My only sadness is that I expected these new ones to come with pink L/R/Z/+/- buttons as pictured, but the ones I got are white.
